adrian-allan-poe:

“Well I believe I’ve been managing better than you’ve been.” Adrian countered, feeling slightly uneasy. There was absolutely no way Shawn could know about that. Unless Kimberly had told… Or he’d seen… Or somehow he could just see it on him. Adrian blinked calmly at Shawn, fighting the panicky feeling that was starting to manifest itself. He bit the inside of his cheek to keep himself under control.

“I haven’t been trying at all-” Shawn yawned, loudly, staring at the bourbon glass. Maybe if he stared long enough, he’d be able to make it levitate. “In the battle with alcohol, I haven’t lost anything, you’re the one being trampled by your addiction.” Brushing a hand over the knee of his pants, he added, “I should be leaving, this conversation has grown tedious.”
